Seriously such an important poet to me. I cry reading certain poems, every time. Her style is so pensive and yet so astute. She never claimed to have all the answers, and she came with so many questions. Probably one reason I have the impulse to move to the countryside at random times in my life.

I love Mary Oliver!!!
I’ve always hoped we were distantly related. Her poetry and her obvious love and admiration of nature and life itself is so inspiring.
So many good poems in this collection, and the tone of hope and exuberance she displays is so so amazing to witness.

I love Mary Oliver’s writing. Some of the excerpts weren’t my favorite, but I did see the different ways she wrote throughout her life. Definitely book our return to again. I think I like her new word poems and her first poems best. I tried to take my time I’ll read it. I guess that’s why it took me 2 years.
