Ich hab leider erst im nachhinein gemerkt, dass das ein zweiter Band ist und überlege jetzt ob ich den ersten noch lesen will.  "Urban"-Fantasy in Kannada mit Hexe und Dämonen. Sehr Casual mit einem hauch von Mesopotamischer Mythologie.  Tolles tempo, sehr sympathische Charaktäre.

Wow! I spent all of 2024 reading meh book after meh book and FINALLY I've found a fantastic read.

I can't recall one cuss word either.
I liked all the characters too! Which is crazy. NONE of them are jerks (shocker) i feel like so many books rely on jerk characters to provide tension.

Nemini and Adrian are definitely my favorite.

This was so intriguing. I was hooked from the beginning. Such a interesting story of demons, gods, and witches.  I CANNOT wait to read the next 2 books!

An engaging and unique urban fantasy set-up with a well-fleshed out ensemble cast and some seriously strong baddies, but the ending of this first book left me feeling less enthused. I hope our MC doesn't make quite so many irritating choices in the next one.
