Really enjoyed this book. I liked the history and it was very atmospheric. Very easy to lose yourself in the book and picture yourself in the scene. I also enjoyed the murder mystery element. Definitely worth checking out!

I had figured out when and where the dogs took Thea, however the poison came from unexpected places.
This is WAY too long and drawn out that the twists happened so slowly, and it just aint it.

I've been a fan of Kate Morton for many years. I love dual time lines and family stories spanning over decades. I did enjoy this one too but figured out a piece of the story twist early on, so I was just waiting for the reveal, which still didn't disappoint. A solid read for me!
