Jay Porter returns in Pleasantville. It’s fifteen years later after the events of Black Water Risingand his wife has died leaving him to care for his 15 year old daughter and 10 year old son. He intends to retire from a law practice but the disappearance and murder of a 15 year old girl which seems to be linked to a dirty mayoral election have him investigating and back in court again.

If you loved Black Water Rising then you'll love this. The same great writing and style the same feel and another important exploration of race and of power and corruption.
