I just finished the book and I have to say this, I'm satisfied by the ending and by the killer. I'm sad that it wasn't John since I had this awesome theory but when the real killer was being unmasked it made sense it was that person too.

Get Dirty takes place a couple of days after the events of the first book. Margot is still in jail, Bree's in juive and Kitty and Olivia must find the killer before the killer strikes again. The first part of the book kinda lacked in action since I found myself bored with Bree and Olivia's storyline. But once a certain character dies, the action and mystery picks up. The author does a great job in writing suspense and I had so many theories about who could be the killer. Like every character was shady.

This book is full of plot twist which some of them I predicted by myself. My favorite character had got to be Ed The Head hands down! I'm so excited that the sequel wasn't bad because I honestly was worried it will be. The ending was satisfied and I think the girls are safe for good. I just hope they won't start up DGM again. Leave it dead!

I loved the book! Can't believe who it turned out to be. Very surprised, but also not surprised because it's always the least likely person, when it comes to books like these. All in all, I loved the book! Very nice ending!

"I'm not getting mad, I'm just getting even."

I love that this book is such an easy fun read. You just jump right back into the story. The beginning quickly reminds you where everyone is (hospital, meeting up, who knows who, and who doesn't know!) and lets you just jump right back in. And I loved getting right back there.

But I kick myself - because it's my own fault I didn't absolutely love this one. I just couldn't remember enough from book 1 and I've waited too long to finally pick up book 2. I love the story kept me guessing about 'who done it' but I wonder how much of that was because I could not remember a single character or bit of the story from before.

either way, I found this one entertaining even if the big reveal didn't quite surprise like it probably should have.

Finally got my hands on this sequel to Get Even. I melted right back into the world of Bree, Olivia, Kitty and Margot. I eagerly read trying to piece together who-dun-it before the big reveal … I failed … kind of. The author convinced me the killer was one person and it turned out to be someone I had suspected in Book One. This duology was a great diversion with twists, turns, drama, and murder.

Get Dirty is the second book of the Don’t Get Mad series and I couldn’t completely remember how book one ended but that didn’t prevent me from diving right back into this story.

This book picks right up where the last one left off…or shortly after. The things I loved about the first book definitely continue through this one. The friendship that the girls (Kitty, Bree, Olivia, and Margot) have developed only gets stronger through this book and I loved how they all worked together despite their challenges to try to find the killer.

I also thought the mystery that McNeil developed here was great. I was guessing and second guessing myself on who it might be and then when I finally found out I admit, it wasn’t what I expected. And that was EXCELLENT!

All of these characters have their own things to deal with and on top of that, they are trying to figure out who is trying to frame them for something they didn’t do. With Bree in juvie and Margot in the hospital, Kitty and Olivia end up relying on some new DGM members for help. As they all combine their efforts to find the killer, the threats to the members of DGM continue and things get even riskier.

If you like a good mystery with enough twists to keep you guessing, definitely check out this book/series. I admit, I enjoyed this one a bit more than book one but overall enjoyed the series as a whole.

Thank you to Edelweiss and Balzer + Bray for the review copy!

Great second book to the "Don't Get Mad" series. Revenge at its finest with a lot of plot twists.

It’s a really great sequel. I definitely prefer the books much more than the series adaptation, and I always had suspicions, but I didn’t figure out the antagonist from the beginning of the series, in fact only at the end. It’s a great read.
