She says at the end of the book that her prayer with the book was that after reading it we would look a little more intently for God's fingerprints in your life and his voice in your story. I do think that she accomplished that. The book was a heartwarming story. I enjoyed seeing how things fell into place for the characters. I also identified with some of their struggles. I enjoyed considering what Hebrews 13:2, the call on us to be hospitable and the possibility that we might just have the opportunity to entertain angels in our lives. I also appreciated the epilogue where the angels discuss that they are messengers and that they are not to take the focus from God. I will be reading the next one in the series.

I find Karen Kingsbury's books to always be very easy reading. You never have to think a whole lot because the writing style is so light and fluffy. That's not to say that the subject matter is always light, though.

Angels Walking is very typical of her writing. I didn't love the book, but it was fairly enjoyable. I was never bored. It was very sweet; almost too much at times. Christian fiction is often that way.

As for whether I'd recommend this book or not, I'd say if you like the author, you'll probably like this. If you're looking for very easy to read Christian fiction, this would also be a good bet.

I would have given this a 4, but I did start to tire of the characters complaining about the same thing (A few chapters could have been cut out)...but I LOVED the idea...enough that I want to read the next book and see how she wraps up these "mission!"

This book series was beautiful! I loved the concept of it and the faith that unfolds throughout is wonderful and it made me cry happy tears, knowing that angels DO walk this earth and God is constantly looking out for us.

Heartwarming. Happy ending. A good reminder that when God is involved, the world gets much smaller.

Just what I needed to read! Karen Kingsbury can always bring a smile to my face through her books. A good teary eyed moment or two. I just love stories of people coming to Christ. Knowing no matter the obstacles that may come your way God is always near. You just need to pray and have faith.

I love this book very much, all of Karen Kingsbury's books I have really enjoyed. I loved the addition of the angels in the book for filling in mission. I found the idea for the series and the story absolutely captivating. I also loved how Tyler recovered and he and Sammie finally found each other.
