J'ai étudié l'existentialisme dans mes cours de philo et c'était un bon livre pour réapprendre ce que je savais déjà. J'ai trouvé assez drôle la dernière section, dans laquelle les opposants dans la foule avait l'occasion de contre-argumenter. Ça donnait l'impression, dans certains cas, que les marxistes faisaient exprès pour mésinterpréter les propos de Sartre. Mais c'est peut-être parce que je suis moi-même plus existentialiste que communiste… dans tous les cas, une lecture rapide, intéressante, et qui provoque la réflexion.

Yea, I wanna read this again. Some excerpts I can't understand but who am I to say things like that. My brain is the size of a potato. But this book for sure did what it intended on doing. I was enlightened in someway.

i love sartre. having read some of his dramatic work, having the full fleshed out version of his thoughts was immensely gratifying and illuminating. he effectively defines, qualifies, and defends existentialism to an extent that had my mind practically bursting from realization. i particularly enjoyed hearing his voice. a wonderful read, if you happen to be a philosophile.
