This book and Predestined introduces a new world where aliens are real and have been on earth for centuries. Luke has the gift of sight, but it is not easily interpreted and changes with actions. He knows Darien is important to his finding his fated mate or Setah, but he doesn't know why or how. Darien considers Luke his best friend and doesn't allow for more. Then they meet Ryleigh, and all bets are off.
Then there is the intriguing tale of the struggles of the full blood Interans, the Kindred (half bloods) and there interactions with humans. Add the studies of the Interans and Kindred to reactivate their ancient tools and the action is riveting.
This series has it all hot scenes (including BDSM), romance, action, and adventure in a new world construct. Can't wait for the next installment.
