I don’t agree with basically any of her policies but this was an interesting read. She was a little repetitive but I was intrigued the entire time. Sad to read this book knowing Trump is the president again.
I can only pray we are somehow saved from this evil human. Very well written Liz. Thank you for holding true to the constitution and doing so much work to debunk this narcissistic. A must read before you cast your ballot in November!

An inside look of what Trump did to try to retain the presidency despite clearly losing the election. He broke many laws and has not yet been held accountable for his misdeeds. There is a clear threat of Trump coming back into office and the utter destruction to the way we run the country as we have been since its founding. Despite resistance from others in her party, Cheney continues to get the word out and works to see that Trump does not get elected. The inside view of the workings of the House committee around the January 6 insurrection is quite eye-opening. Note that Cheney has a blind spot with respect to her father Dick Cheney, who served as VP for the terrible George W. Bush administration, full of its own backward steps. Yet contrasted to what Trump did in his term, the Bush looks better in comparison.

Oof this was hard to read after the election knowing what we are getting ourselves into with another trump presidency. It’s actually a terrifying read because of that but…it was well written, full of insider information and gave me a better understanding of what we might have to deal with again
