This was a fun (yet annoying, enraging, and poignant) story told from the POV of Filipina domestic workers in Singapore. Definitely enjoyed reading and I also liked that it allowed me to reminisce and remember my time in Singapore. Appreciate the Author's Note that reminds readers of the very real story of Flor Ramos Contemplacion and the struggle domestic workers face while also reminding and encouraging readers to learn more about extrajudicial violence (i.e. the War on Drugs) in the Philippines and the families and communities who were impacted.
