Isn’t is always the ones that seem the most confident that are the most insecure. Zach is that person. He is the pretty boy, the playboy that uses his good looks and hot body to his advantage and as armor.

Maya has been living in a bubble and is about as innocent as a person can be in this world. She is a dog lover with some very specific and wild sensitivities.

Can the self professed man-whore and the odd duck be anything more than boss and employee.

Man I love an opposites attract romance—probably because I’m loving one, but Maya and Zach’s is pretty freaking adorable too.

Zach is all about image—he’s used his charm and charisma to distract and create the image he wants for himself and his family for so long that it’s just unexpected when he’s suddenly faced with a marketing hire he can’t charm into taking the interview. Maya lives her entire life within a comfort zone —some of which totally makes sense and some just out of habit, but still the whole picture makes her eclectic for sure. When Maya’s life needs a reboot she’s looking for a fresh start she’s finally prepared to take Zach’s interview, but I think they’re both surprised when suddenly his pursuit becomes less headhunter like and definitely more romantic. Seeing these two working through their insecurities and differences to fall together and become stronger for confident people individually and within a relationship is definitely heartwarming. I love these two.

I love the Brash Brothers! I really loved Maya. She said everything that came to her mind, and it was hilarious. When she thought he was gonna burn that art piece, I was dying. These slow burns are so well written you are entertained by their angst. I loved Zach when he finally saw her. When she finally opened up to him, it was so sweet to read him fall all over himself. I am loving these books!
