Spent the morning of my birthday finishing up this wonderful book. I wanted to take my time with it, because I really enjoyed the two characters, all of their banter, and their back stories… And it didn’t disappoint. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure was mine and that tea was piping HOT.

This was a dark romance, that I definitely see myself rereading… And I had such a fun time, hence the five star rating! I am so in love with Connie baby it isn’t FUNNY.

I got not even halfway while reading on Kindle unlimited before I purchased the paperback on Amazon… And if that doesn’t tell you how much fun I was having, then I don’t know what will. I am so excited, on the edge of my fucking seat!! For the third and final book in the series.

Okay, wow. Some of the BEST spicy writing I've read all year... (for context I'm at like 63 books currently). As everyone else has said, this book is like the epitome of the "Don't touch my wife" trope. Also the way the characters are each obsessed with saying/hearing "my wife/husband" had me gleefully giggling.

Also one of my faave revenge scenes at the very end.

I am really loving the reincarnation aspect of each of these stories, particularly as it relates to second chances and righting the wrongs of the past. It's much subtler in book 2 than B1, but still felt really genuine and intriguing.

solid 3, i didnt like it as much as the first but it was pretty good

Lenix is one of my favorite FMCs I’ve read in a while and her relationship with Connor is so complicated and messy but filled with such safety and adoration.

This one didnt knock my socks off as much as book 1 (some of the content was a little repetitive and slow) but I was still thoroughly entertained and if you thought Byzantine was morally grey then Connor is morally BLACK
