Not my faaavorite, but it was okay! Once again, I liked reading the author's notes at the end. I definitely felt her lake-cabin-nostalgia energy throughout the books. Some of the flashbacks and teenager moments were a little too cringy and unbelievable for me. It reminded me of People We Meet on Vacation, but I connected more with those characters.

Ughhhh I was debating wether to give this 5 stars because all through out reading it I was itching for more I was thinking about it at work and couldn’t wait to get home to read more and in my head I was like there’s no way this ain’t a 5star for me and then that chapter happened and I was genuinely so annoyed and hurt by it and I was like this is a 4star but it felt wrong deducting a star just because I didn’t like a plot line but then that’s the point of the book and I didn’t like it so I’m still unsure but gave it a 5star for now.

I really enjoyed this book. I fell in love with Percy’s and Sam’s relationship and loved how it progressed throughout the years. It was so sweet. This was a perfect holiday book.
