Best story by far was Colors of the Immortal Palette, but overall, the collection was a bit lackluster to me.

Good stories, many excellent, though a few disappoint, which is probably inevitable, as not all subgenres of the field appeal to me. Nonetheless, this is a worthy addition to the series and it is good to sample the year’s best (according to the editors’ tastes) in print book form.
