I love Jim McGill. Wait. Did I start my last review that way? These are fun stories about the dark side of politics (mostly) - great characters. In this, we have a bone marrow transplant and a wedding. Oh - and a bunch of lobbyists being murdered.

Not a big fan of cliff hangers, but seeing as how the next novel is actually a two-parter, I guess I have to get used to it with Mr. Flynn.

I enjoyed the plot and pacing of this installment.

I should make it 4 1/2 stars for the cliffies at the end but since the next ones already written and I don't have to wait I'll stick with the 5. Good book, great characters fast and fun plot. We better not lose Kenny or I'm done. :)

This series continues in an awkward place for me. What I like about Flynn's writing I really like, but the parts of his writing I don't like are conspicuous and grating. I suspect that I may take a breather from the series for a while. I want to pick it up again, but I need some time to forget about some of those negatives. It doesn't help that he ends this book with
Spoilera cliffhanger, with the life of a major character in the balance
