4.5 stars!

Holy granola, this was way steamier than the first book and it is quite instalove but I still ate it up. I wasn't bothered because I loved the Ice Princess vs Laidback Lumberjack rivalry between Emma and Jackson and how their frenemy relationship evolved with their sexual relationship. The rivalry didn't last very long but I loved the tension that built up at the beginning—it was almost as if the animosity and negative feelings they harboured all these years was just a cover for their attraction and horniness for each other? I was here for it.

DID NOT FINISH: 26%

Tried to give it a chance, our so called enemies hop in bed with each other within seconds of being alone together, not to mention the scenes are just not it, sounding very chilidsh. I give up on this series

this one started out really good and the spice was out of this world but it definitely got a bit excessive and cringey at times. i definitely like the first book in the series more and i appreciated the quinn and parker cameos.
QUINN GRANT?! HELLO?!

this one felt really different compared to the first book and idk what it is i cant put my finger on it. but alas, i read it very quickly

This one had me laughing at the start from those first couple chapters, but quickly fell in love with Emma & Jackson!  Their families have been fighting for years, but the attraction and chemistry between them is palpable from the start!  Quick holiday read with some spice and I read it in an evening!  Perfect palate cleanser holiday novella! Excited to read the next novella in the Strawberry Hollow series!
