Best. Book. Ever!! Apollo completely and totally won me over. I should have known that he would ever since he made his appearance in the first book. I was intrgued by him but I was so damn pissed off by Lahn and Circes' story that I didn't think anyone was gonna top Frey. Not even Tor even though he was amazing too. And Maddie.....sweet, headstrong, broken Maddie. I adored her!! They both deserved happiness and I'm so damn happy they got it..
P.S. The sex was hot! I mean really hot. Spanking good hot ^_^

Wow!! This series just gets better and better as the stories come out! I love Apollo and Isla's (Maddie) story! They found happiness even in tragedy! Happy endings with hot Alphas is always a great story!

Didn't think i would love a book more than i did Golden Dynasty...but here you have it....Apollo and Maddies's sotry Five thumbs waaaaaaaaaaaaaay UP!!!!!!!
I probably would have given it 5 stars but there were times when Maddie forgave Apollo WAY too easily. Honestly, that is an issue for me in all of the books in this series. However, if that is my biggest problem, then all is well.
Not my favorite...I dragged my way through it, it took me 5 days to read it because I just couldn't connect with Maddy. I was more interested in what was happening to Derrik, what will hopefully happen to Derrik. I liked Apollo, he's always been a great character, so just struggled with Maddy sadly. I loved seeing all the couples come together and getting more into who Valentine is...wonder if she will get a book, I totally think she deserves one.
Even though this wasn't my favorite and it took me forever to get it read this is simply a great paranormal romance series and I love it. I am so looking forward to Noc and Franka's book, Midnight Soul and of course hoping wildly for at least two more books for the people I mentioned earlier. If not a few other characters, Achilles, ahem. This could be a great long running series!

Let's be honest, my favorite couples in the Fantasyland are : Circe & Lahn - Frey & Finnie. So I'm reading the books that come after those two stories just to know how things will end and how the good people will beat the bad people"evil witches". Apollo boy, you're not my fav sorry to be honest and even if Maddie tried to show us what is to like about you , I still don't agree with her because I really want to slap ya like a B*tch!! Now I'm gonna see what Franka is doing in the next book because I'm freaking curious like that!

SO I think I have reread this three times in the space of two weeks.
Fair enough to say that this is one heck of an adventure that had me wishing it happened to me. well not the beating part but almost everything else.
I loved this book and as a person who loves fiction I have to say this book is now series is now highlighting my favourite books ever.
I loved me all the characters and KA fever is slowly setting in! loved it.
