Although there is another book to come in this series, it felt like the end and it was a great ending. Although no one can beat Lahn and Circe in my eyes, Apollo and Maddie were too cute. He had some really dickhead moments and she had too many moments where she doubted and underestimated herself, but it all worked out in the end, once they both got their heads out of their butts. All the couples finally face the witches who have kind of been behind a whole lot throughout this series (even if you didn't know it at first), so that provided a lot of action and understanding. And it was great to see how the other couples were doing and getting updated on them. Looking forward to the next installment.
La verdad no se que decir de este libro. Me gustó, pero a la vez siento que le falto mucho... Básicamente lo que siempre me pasa con Kristen Ashley!
Obvio todo lo del romance de ellos me encantó, Lo es divino con ella incluso cuando la trata mal, pero ella en medio de su crisis existencial se complicó mucho la vida. Lo de broken del titulo como que no me cuadra. Se pasaron todo el libro diciendo que ella estaba broken y a mi no me pareció que estuviera tan mal, ni que hubiera tenido una mala vida! No es por criticar al personaje ni a las desgracias por las que paso, pero pues! Hay cosas peores! Al menos admite que ella se las buscó!
Me encantó que el gemelo fuera malvado, pero lo mismo de siempre: los villanos casi ni participan. Claro que esto tiene un lado bueno, porque en lo poquito que estuvieron fue súper X. Y ya decidí que no es que le falte 'drama de telenovela mexicana' a la cosa, es que a Kristen como que no se le dan la intriga y la acción. Lo mismo: no estuvo mal, pero tampoco fue una cosa de otro mundo.
Lo mejor si fue que se encontraron todos y fue épico! Cuando Lahn y sus secuaces salvan a Maddie: GENIAL, cuando se dan cuenta de 'aquello que les pasa a las 4 a la misma vez': LOME! Y la parte del te de adela! HOTHOTHOTHOT.
Yo si me muero es por saber si Franka y Noc si quedan juntos o quoi, pero Kris ni siquiera debe haber empezado a escribirlo... Y ahora que se me ocurre, no se como me siento con el hecho de que son las mujeres las que se tienen que adaptar al mundo del hombre, yo entiendo que en los 4 primeros libros se así, porque o sea es fantasyland, pero si el 5to va a ser en este mundo por qué no puede ser el hombre el desubicado! A mi si me encantaría ver cómo Noc se defiende en el otro mundo, porque implicaría que él dependiera en todo de alguna mujer. Pero como está de moda escribir sobre machos alpha dominantes que en realidad son angelitos caídos del cielo con un pasado turbulento, no creo que lea alguna vez algo así, y mucho menos de Kristen.
En fin, tuvo sus partes muy buenas y otras que como que aja. Pero eso no quita que la serie entera es maravillosa y que yo quiero ir a Lunwyn o a Fleuridia o incluso a Korwahk! Este tipo de libros son los que me dan crisis existencial e inconformidad con la vida, pero que más se le va a hacer! La única solución es seguir leyendo :)

Well, most of the subplot was taken care of in this book. I like how all of the couples end up getting together and forming friendships with each other. The relationship should have been developed better than it was. There were more than 500+ pages to do it. I am a sucker for romance, kids and all that jazz, so it was good. Not the best. Yet, it was fun & sweet.

Relecture, Apollo et Maddie m'ont plus convaincu ici que lors de ma première relecture.
It was nice seeing the other couples again, but one drug on way too long.
5 magical stars!!! I so totally enjoyed this book. I think it may be my favorite one of the series. It probably has one of the hottest scenes I've ever read. I mean, seriously hot.
This story is not without heartache and emotion. I have no idea how Kristen can do this to us over and over. My heartstrings were tugged like crazy.
I love seeing all the past characters come in and play a role. It's so much fun to have their imput in this situation. I can't wait to read the next one!!

I tried to get through this story but I just didn't feel the main characters at all. I was far more fascinated with side characters who appear to have a better moral compass than our main hero. Not to mention that some elements of the story really bothered me as a woman. It just didn't get over as romantic but abusive, and I couldn't find any enjoyment in such a story. I doubt I'll read more of this series, which is seriously a hit-and-miss read for me (look my 'Golden Dynasty' review).

Another enjoyable instalment to this series. It was great until 75% then it was just okay. the last quarter seemed a little long winded and I lost some interest. As ever the KA epilogue rocks.
