The revolution has succeeded. But what now? How do you move towards a “better society”?

Through this book, Orwell criticizes political maneuvers and totalitarian rule, using animals to explain what humans do. The author portrays the way a revolutions can go full circle — coming to the same point it started from. Just the face of power is changed.

Nothing much happened and it was very politcal. I can see why he chose to use animals instead of humans. The narrator (Philip Battley) is a legend.

A story written between 1944 and 1945. A story that is still relevant to today.

Leading a rebellion against those who restrict what you can do, what you can say, think, and be.
To be led by those who you assume has your best interests.
To have new rules set and everyone agrees to.
To find there are minor exceptions that do not benefit you.
To find others brought in who know little, if anything, about the past, and so be led blindly according to what the people in charge say.
To find you are led by those who you rebelled against in the first place, only to be in one space behind where you started.

So, what's my review of the book?
Mandatory reading.
Don't let this book fall by the wayside.
This shows what happens when greed takes over, and those in power fear losing that power. What happens when people in power realise how much power they don't have against the people, and so keep them in the dark so they never learn that.
