This book was almost non-stop action. I couldn't put it down. There were a few things that irked me, like the abundance of sentences that trailed off without an ending, the Irish nanny reporting the child's temperature to the British father in Fahrenheit, and the most annoying - referring to a gun's magazine as a clip. Just because most people call it that, doesn't mean it's correct!

Listened via Audible. Maybe this isn't fair, but I'm docking a point for the narration. The story was extremely interesting and is exactly the type of audiobook I've been into lately. But holy crap, the narration was bad. The book is based in London, and the narrator has a British accent - 95% of the book he spoke with his regular accent and it was totally fine, but when he had to speak with any other accent, it was painful. When he spoke with an American accent, he spoke extremely slowly and enunciated each word. Jamaican accents were also awful. Either way, good story! But get another narrator, damn.

Book #3 is fast paced, action oriented and has some twisty turns to keep the read on her toes. Though some sections of the story line were a bit convoluted --- it did not distract me from the story. I enjoyed it very much.

I went into this expecting Patterson and not Shakespeare. All the same -- wow! By the end, it was just too stupid to even be an enjoyable albeit trashy read. And England beating Brazil for soccer gold?!!! I'm not even a fan of the sport and I was offended.

Loved this book. Patterson is a bit scary how realistic his vision is.

First, I love James Patterson. Have read a bunch of his books. What I loved about this book was the Olympic portions of this book. Glad the real London Olympics did not have to go through all of this. What I didn't like about the story was the personal side of the agents and the threat (spoiler alert) involving his kids. That story has been told 100 times.

I think the timing of reading this book made the last couple of chapters difficult. On the day of the tragedy in Boston, I was at the part of the book where they thought Kronos was going to attack the marathon during the Olympics. I had to stop listening for a little while because it was too much like real life.

Other than that, I really liked it. It was an intense story with a lot of action and just enough red herrings for me to not really know who the killer was until they finally revealed it.

I would recommend this book, but the book on CD version that I listened to almost made me stop listening. There were way too many mispronounced words and that drove me crazy!

Kind of fun to read this book, which takes places during the London Olympics, right before the Olympics start.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I really did like it but I did find it hard to get into at first but the book got better and the plot took off as it does in typical Patterson books. Overall it was a good book and I would recommend it.

If you like James Patterson type mysteries, this is a good one. Taking place during the London Summer 2012 Olympics, the book kept you guessing right up to the climax.
