After watching the movie, I was super excited to read the book. It definitely delivered. I didn't think the story could get any more intense or emotional but it certainly was. Hearing it play out from Jack's mind was an emotional rollercoaster and it was also so beautiful and innocent.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I went into it knowing very, very little about what it was about, which I also think added to the experience. This book made me feel so many different emotions and I enjoyed reading it in an almost stream of consciousness POV from Jack.

I wish I could rate it higher. I came here from the movie and the book BLEW me away. Phenomenal. Such an interesting perspective from which to tell this tale.
