It took me awhile to get into this book. It was different, but after I got hooked I really liked it. The characters were fascinating, especially the storyteller, Jack.

Loved it! Such an interesting and fast read. Something about it being narrated by Jack, in his words, made it quick and simple. Seeing Room, and eventually Outside, through his eyes was sweet and allowed me to remember how I felt when I was young with child-like wonder.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — 4

This was unlike any other book I’ve read before. The narrative being told from Jacks 5year old perspective gave the story a whole new life. I found it so interesting and heart wrenching how they both struggled and coped to the world outside the room. I felt so bad for Ma who was honestly just doing her best to cope and create a semi normal world for her child. It was a fast interesting read.
