This is really just a primer on the issue and an intro to the Eternal Conscious Torment camp of thinking, but it does that job well! I recommend for those are not theological scholars but are interested in some light theological reading.

thought provoking but only half the book relates directly to the title and doesn't really answer any questions

This book gave me a lot to meditate on and consider.

A refreshingly honest view. Chan, as usual, turns to Scripture and the Greek and Hebrew text for every single point. He also refuses to back down from even the truths that he himself does not like.

The idea is good, execution is poor
challenging informative medium-paced

This short read us definitely a powerful one, especially if you've always shied away or struggled with the concept of hell. I thought the authors definitely expressed their thoughts clearly and it was interesting to gain some insight into what others believe about hell and why or why not those beliefs are founded in the Bible. I would say it's a worthwhile read for any Christian

Saying this is a "good read" or that "you will enjoy it" isn't quite right.

It's easy to understand, easy to follow, and easy to read... on one level. But make no mistake about it, it is not an "easy read".

A great book written at a needed moment.
