4.0

The writing has definitely improved from say you swear but it was just missing something. I fell in love with Ari/Noah but it kinda fell flat for me with Mason/Payton idk. I really don’t know why.

So I’ve rated it 4 but in reality it’s 3.5.

MASON JOHNSON IS THAT MAN! Oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to start. The book was genuinely one of the best I’ve read this year I could not put it down.  I loved Mason and Payton so much. Their story was amazing and the way Payton explored being a single teen mom was just amazing. I love how emotional it was and it just gave me a good cry here and there during the book!

Mason and Payton are a beautiful couple. A couple who endure pain and suffering. Payton is suffering after losing her first love - the father of her son - and Mason wants to help her heal and be a father to Payton's son. This story made me laugh and cry. I loved the paternal instincts exhibited in Mason's character - he is definitely a great role model for males of this generation.

I overall thought the book was good but I also was not a huge fan at the same time. It actually kind of ruined the story my brain came up with for Mason and Payton during Say You Swear.

Definitely not what I was expecting and I won’t lie I started reading it because Noah Riley had me going through withdrawals. I’ve read the first book numerous times and I love it so much it’s my favorite book of all time so I just simply had to be back in this universe. I like the tension and everything felt so familiar and the author did a great job of helping us understand the characters and their feelings. A little cringy I will not lie but that’s every book. Anyway I loved and j will be reading cams book as well. (No one is better than Noah and Ari argue with a wall)
