This book was so bad. I never want to read the nickname “pretty little” again. The dumbest thing I’ve ever read. I do not recommend.

I think maybe this book could have been 200 pages shorter. The story was okay, I don’t mind a book that moves slowly if the writing is good and this one is better written than the first. The problem is, nothing really happens. You stay in the minds of the two main characters going back and forth between the last year and present time - but it’s just not that entertaining. I understand why people find this book trivial, I get why people DNF it. The climax at the end feels random, you get little of the characters you love from the first book and you have to wait so long before anything is resolved or talked about that when the book comes to an end you’re thinking “huh, kind of feel like I wasted some time there”. I found it enjoyable enough, but it’s not a book I’ll think of when thinking of the books i read in 2024.

Also the name “pretty little” might be one of the stupidest pet names I’ve heard since “gorgeous gorgeous girl” (if you know, you know)

I liked this and loved Mason. I don’t know how I feel about Payton. She was just a difficult character for me to like most of the time for me. I did like their relationship. Noah is still supreme
