I loved this book, I did. It hurt in the best way and was filled with angst and longing that kept me reading. I was glued to the book and just wanted to get to the happy ending.

Mason is THE best! He was so kind and strong and was determined to break through Payton's walls. The moments he was with Payton's little boy was so incredibly heartwarming and I adored his love for the little boy. 

My heart broke for Payton and what she had been through. She was dealing with so many adult situations but I was so happy to see her brother and his friends really step up and surround her with so much love and support.

Overall I enjoyed the book but I was a little disappointed that it literally took almost 90% of the book for them to get together. I feel a little robbed of this couple's love story and I don't feel like I got to see enough of them being together.

I disagree strongly with rating this anything below 5⭐️. It's not infinity stars like Say You Swear but it is definitely 5. Any book that can make me cry is. The story took a while to develop but for me that just made it all the sweeter. Meagan Brady is now an auto read author for me. Kudos on another book well done.
