I received am ARC from Netgalley. G.A. McKevett is one of my favorite authors and I'm always excited to read the newest in her series. I love Savannah Reid. It's not often that you find a heroine that's plus size and proud of it. This book included the usual cast of characters. The storyline was about finding a movie stars missing wife and child. Lots of humor thrown in along with lots of love.

Since I was already reading Murder in her Stocking and Just Desserts this month, I thought it was a good time to get caught up on the newest book in the Savannah Reid/Moonlight Magnolia series. This book did not disappoint. It was a little more somber than some of the others with Tammy's family dynamic going on on top of the mystery - and the resolution of the mystery itself wasn't a real HEA either. But the characters are as delightful as always and the mystery was terrific. I highly recommend the whole series.

Another fun Savanna Reid book where west coast fame meets southern charm!
Savannah and her detective agency get the job of a lifetime when an honest to goodness movie star hires her to find his wife and son. Although lots of clues point to the husband, Savannah (and the reader) can pretty much be sure he isn't the culprit. Lots of twists and turns will have you guessing until the end. Savannah's adorable niece also makes an appearance! This book was enjoyable and I look forward to reading more books in this series.

*** I received an advanced e-copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review

Savannah Reid and the Midnight Magnolia Detective Agency are back with their newest case. This time, a famous and much loved actor's wife, son and nanny have disappeared and Savannah has been hired to find them. On top of that, Tammy's parents are in town and her mother is determined to make her come home with them. She thinks Tammy's marriage, new baby and choice of career are all a big mistake. But don't worry... Savannah and Granny will set things right.
This series is lots of fun, full of sass, and southern charm. This book was no exception. If you enjoy a good mystery and could use a pick-me-up, then this is the book for you.
