this was a messy and honest read, not perfect but her writing style made up for it.

everyone wants to talk about the ending, but i think it delivered exactly what it needed to. this one will stick with me for a long time.

i thought this was a good book, it wasnt the quickest read which i both appreciated and disliked - i thought it was REALLY good but the way the way that it was based in monologues made it harder for me to comprehend. it was a great read and important perspective that i dont hear enough of so highly recommended!

I struggled with the writing style a lot, it helped that I listened to it as an audiobook. it was interesting to read about a trans woman in the early 2000s but especially towards the end, I got really frustrated with the characters

this book felt like a friend who finally saw me for who i was and i'm genuinely kinda fucked up about how i've finished it and can never read it for the first time ever again.
