It feels like almost nothing happens in this book until the last 30 pages, and then everything happens at once in a way that doesn’t really make sense. I’m sure some aspects of this book would improve on a second read, with knowledge of the ending, but at least on the first read through, it wasn’t very good. Definitely one of my least favorite of her novels.
