a

An unusual one from Agatha Christie- no detective sleuthing out the case in this one. It was good; in the hands of a worse author the plot would probably have been rubbish, but she pulled it off well. I began to suspect the truth probably around halfway through, but the denouement was done well. I thought it would all be revealed and the villain(s) would revel in their success, but his turning on her and swift descent into madness and malice was a great extra turn
