Enjoyable read for a holiday book
Ghost of Christmas Present: 5 Stars
I really liked this story and wished it wasn't so short. I loved Richelle and Wiley's gifts for one another. I am enjoying the writing combination of J.R. Rain and Rod Kierkegaard Jr.
Christmas in the Morgue: 4 Stars
This one wasn't easy to follow at first, but I did enjoy it.
ZombieApp: 2-3 Stars
I was hard pressed to finish this story. Generally, swearing doesn't bother me, but it was just excessive for a short story, imo. Sadly, I kept having to put the book down and come back to it because the storyline was just not engaging. I did like the ending and how they "reversed" the problem.
I've chosen to give this book 4 Stars overall, because I enjoyed the first 2 stories. I admit that zombies are not my thing (except for Richelle Dadd) which is why I'm not willing to ding the book's rating as a result of my not liking ZombieApp.
I received a free Advance Review Copy (ARC) in exchange for an honest review.
