Would have given it 5 stars but the homophone errors drove me nuts.

NO rating yet b/c I'm only 30% in but I'm already ready to ditch this one. I don't like to dnf, so I'll muddle through but I'm definitely way past it already. Meg is a completely different character in this book. whiny and bellowing, yelling and screaming and crying constantly. In fact so is EVERYONE in this book. It's like tween drama OVER and OVER and OVER again and again and again. I get something traumatic happened, but these aren't young kids. These are older adults so ACT LIKE IT. Why is everything YELLING and SCREAMING and BELLOWING and CRYING. It's just so very annoying. And after only seeing her one night when she is drunk in the previous book he decides she is it for him? It's just way too insta.

Anyway, I'm going to keep going in the hopes it settles and becomes more realistic and less of the ridiculous. I feel like if Meg and Lo were gone from this book, I'd like it much better. I hate in series when I feel like the previous H/h are pushed into the story but they don't actually add to it and instead just make it harder to actually enjoy the story.

Ugh. I'm probably being way too harsh and will edit this later, but I'm so disappointed after how much I loved the first one.

Cyn and Rigid

Cyn and Rigid a hot, curvaceous beauty. Rigid a tall, tatted, pierced & smokim hot biker. Tasked with protecting Cyn from her douchebag ex, they slowly fall in love.

Loved this book! It was a such a great angsty read! Cyn and Rigid have such a sweet and rocky romance. Cyn is left broken after her last relationship and must rebuild her life. Rigid is determined to be there to help her pick up the pieces. This book does deal with some trigger issues but does so in a great way. Again I am loving this series and cant wait to read the next book!

Healing her

At the end of book 1, cyn had called meg. The distress call brought a whole of pain and sorrow for cyn and those around. Rigid blamed himself for not claiming her sooner and now didn't think he would ever be able to help her heal to a point she would want him in her life. Although he's a larger than life character, he is so sweet towards cyn. Nursing her back to health. Being by her side. But after finally dealing with the man who caused all her pain. Rigid didn't think he deserved her. Great read.

Cyn is Meg and Troy's best friend and co-worker. When you first see Cyn she is engaged, then not engaged and you see her beaten. Now the start of this book you see her beaten and broken by the one you thought would love you forever. Losing the one thing you wanted the most in the world will send you on a downward spiral. She lashes out at everyone who is just trying to help her especially her best friend. Rigid is the only one she let's get close to her.
Rigid is a member of the MC and a hardened man. He is a ladies men but as soon as he set his sights on Cyn he hasn't been going with the ladies as much as he used to. Cyn doesn't fall at his feet like most and Rigid loves a challenge. When Rigid finds out Cyn is beaten he will stop at nothing to get the scum that hurt his woman.
As Cyn gets better physically, she still has a long way to go emotionally and mentally, Rigid is there the entire way. As their relationship grows Cyn is able to start trusting a man again. You see both of them open up again and start to love each other.
This is the more darker of the Devil Knights book, but I felt it needed to be that way because the others have a lighter mood. I love where she took Cyn. I don't wish that on anyone but Cyn and Rigid are both complex people.
