I was bamboozled by the cover & thought this was a new collection of Black Canary stories featuring Jurnee's version of Canary.

But no, it's just a reprint of Fletcher's run that I read in part forever ago.

Meh. Dinah has never been a character that resonated with me & unfortunately this didn't change my mind.

A good story with nice illustrations and graphics. The comic was overall an enjoyable read, though the cover fooled me into thinking that it would be about the new Black Canary from the Birds of Prey movie. But the comic was still fun to read

DPL hoopla.

The story was OK and mostly clear but the art was often confusing and/or unhelpful to understanding the story.

Okay, first of all, Dinah Lance just radiates hot girl energy and I love that for her. In this book she is a part of a rock band called Black Canary with a bunch of other cool chicks
(one of whom may be sentient sound but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
, plus their faithful manager, and their awesome bus driver. However, it soon becomes apparent that something foul is afoot because violence follows them wherever they go, including a monster attack. This was a fun story about Dinah with some cool cameos from other well known DC characters and a cool cast of original characters as well. The story was a little bit disjointed but I thought that it added to the atmosphere because I think it allowed us to figure out what was going on at the same time as the characters, you just have to pay a little bit of attention to the details. Over all, a really fun time, and it makes me want to dive into more of the comic book forms of the characters in "Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn)"

Having not read nor seen any of the Birds of Prey series until a few weeks ago, this volume is awesome. This was a bigger volume than the other one I read but much better storyline and character development with the band. Eventually I'll go see the movie.
