If you’re looking for a book about a real paranormal investigation then this one is decent. If you’re looking for true crime this is not it.

An interesting and weird little book, true crime blended with paranormal nonfiction. I would’ve enjoyed it more, I think, had more of the book focused on the true crime aspect, though. Also — very creepy. Not a book to read alone in the dark.

An easy to read real life story of murder and the supernatural, it does become far fetched though.

I went into this blind and I was expecting something completely different, but I did enjoy it.
I've never heard of Herbert Baumeister except when I watched a horror/ghost movie about Fox Hollow Farm.
This book was a little boring at time as it was kinda of biographical. I liked learning about Herb and his victims and the paranormal investigating aspect of his old home.
Overall this isn't something I'm likely to pick up and read again.

The book was alright. Not as true crime in depth on the serial killer as much as talking about how his place may be haunted. Makes sense with the title. Don’t know how believable it is to me, but definitely reads that the author believes it.
