This was actually my first Goosebumps (Fear Streat girly usually), it was ok, almost not at all spooky. I was expecting much more because it's a camp and woods and animals, all of that is super scary to me but no... the twist was ridiculous. It killed some time, but nothing to write home about.

4 stars. This was awesome. So much fun. I love anything that has to do with a creepy sleep away camp. The main character, Billy, was great and brave. It was so weird and the ending was bonkers. What a twist! One of my favorites in the series.

An quite alright book in the famous Goosebumps series. Read this one several times as a kid, but as an adult i wanted more horror from it XD

Intriguing story, ridiculous ending

What a fun ending!

Even though I preferred Stine's more mature horror series, Fear Street, Goosebumps actually creeped me out in ways Fear Street never did. Something about the morbid humor mixed in with a childish gross-factor... I don't know, but these books were disturbing to my younger self on so many levels.
This one in particular was always my favorite and has stuck in my mind years later. Just a weird, crazy, awesome twist. Loved it.
