I swear with every Goosebumps book while it’s easy to fly through I’m just feeling okay about the plot. Then the end just goes absolutely crazy. I will say that I saw the first twist coming. Then the second twist was so insane and I hate and love it.

This is NOT my favorite R.L. Stine. Not bad, but not my favorite as this one is more sci-fi and less horror. I was really intrigued throughout the book, but didn’t care for the conclusion. If you are looking for old school Gossebumps nostalgia - this is not it. Or if this is a first R.L. Stine book for a child - I could recommend a million others to start with before this one.

This was a good one! I actually liked the twist ending and thought it was very funny and perfect for a Goosebumps book. My only question is why do so many kids in these books get major concussions and it’s no big deal?? Very 90s, haha
I just wanted a fun spooky camping read. What the hell was this? I'd rather send my kids to Jellyjam.
