I enjoyed the range of places in this poets work however there was nothing that really sang to me in this collection.

I used to read Sarah Kay a lot in high school and college and this held up. My favorite poems were Montauk, Dragons, Postcards, and 7B. She can turn anything into a poem and transport you there. A true artist!!

I recently stumbled upon this interesting collection of poetry called "No Matter the Wreckage" by Sarah Kay. Kay's words are so raw and beautifully crafted, they'll grab you right from the start. She's got this amazing way of capturing everyday moments and making them feel meaningful. If you're a fan of poetry, definitely worth checking out! 🌟📚

Write Bloody is a publishing house that consistently puts out books by amazing poets. Sarah Kay is undoubtedly one of them. There is an honest hopefulness among the melancholy themes, and a dash of realism even in the heady topics of love and creation. (The poem about the affair partner of Sylvia Plath's husband was particularly intriguing, too.) I really enjoyed this collection.

I don’t think I was the target audience for this. I really wanted to like it! I would sit and reflect after many of the poems but… It just, unfortunately, didn’t do much for me.
