I loved Neon Gods and couldn’t wait to read another one of Robert’s Dark Olympus novel and I was NOT disappointed. It had the same charm and heat of her first book but with an even more intoxicating and in depth feel to the wild life of this Olympus. I loved both characters’ POVs and really appreciated getting to read about a plus-sized gal as the focus of a lusty and romantic story for once.

“I see a woman I don't deserve, but you make me want to be a better man so that one day I might deserve you. I see a goddess.”

“Love doesn't much care whether you deserve it or not. It's not exactly a conditional thing - or at least it shouldn't be.”

“I'm not a dreamer by nature. I like facts and reality rather than the fantastic version of what could be.”

She did it again!! This book was so much fun to get through! Excitement, thrilling! Watching these two fall in love as they move about the thirteen was just incredible! I’ve fallen in love with Olympus and can’t wait for more!!

Ugh thank goodness that is over. I loved the first one but this is like a cheap knock off. Eros and Psyche have such little personality. He goes on and on about how kind and amazing she is because she gave him a bandaid once. Other than that she’s a social media influencer. I’m not saying she’s a terrible person but she never shows any signs of incredible kindness.
There’s a lot of talk of plus sized women specifically that honestly felt clunky and preachy to me? Others don’t seem to feel that way.
There’s in my opinion token LGBTQ representation in that everyone is queer- but there’s no queer relationships on page. Everyone just casually throws in “oh my femme/non binary/etc partners in the past”. It didn’t come off well to me. Same with the author’s announcing everyone’s race as she introduces them.
Overall disappointed in this one. Plot had massive holes, characters were not interesting. Just not for me.
