Supposedly I have already read this, but if I did, I forgot most of the beats. Interesting crossover that does a lot of heavy lifting to get Flash Thompson back on the active roster, so to speak.

Still a three, but a good three.

Read via Marvel Unlimited.

I'm not really a Venom fan but this had an interesting hook - a new symbiote is in town and trying to take over the mob. Gorgeous art, fun but definitely an inessential book.

I wasn't particularly impressed by the first half, but i did enjoy Eddie and Flash fighting over the symbiote (and the parts with the symbiote on its own). The second half was really fun, though. I enjoyed them working together even better.
The plot... isn't very much to look at... And Peter, as always, is an asshole when it comes to the symbiote.

Lee Price takes control of a symbiote and Spidey will need help from anti-venom (Flash Thompson) and Venom (Eddie Brock). We can also see Black Cat playing a good role.

I liked this one; yet, it could've been so much more. The characters tapped here -- not only the legions of Spider-Men, Venoms and Anti-Venoms (hyperbole, people!), it's got half the street-level rogues' gallery of Spidey...which, unfortunately, is not used anywhere near to the fullest of its potential.

Shame, I love me a good Venom story.

3.5 stars, but only because of one incredibly stupid joke/reference that I enjoyed. Venom sucks.
