oh this was so so good... every bit as good as dracula and honestly it felt like they could have been set in the same universe!!! i only wish it was a full-length novel. i need more

Now that I’ve read the original, I’m looking forward to seeing the reference in other works and consuming more lesbian vampire content. Worth the quick read! I think the audio book narration can be really make or break

Being a Vampire sounds like a pretty sweet life. I want to be a guest at a variety of castles around Eastern Europe, incredibly secretive about my origins, up all night languidly terrorizing the daughers of the aristocracy and rising at 2pm to have a leisurely lunch. I want to profess my love in increasingly alarming ways and talk about death nonstop. That's what life is all about.
