I absolutely loved this book! I like weird stuff like this. The author’s sense of humor is great and definitely translates throughout the entire book. I liked how this is a compilation of many different medical mysteries. I would love to read more books like this. TW: some of the stories may be disturbing for some readers.

I'm impressed by the level of research, as well as the simplified format for telling the stories in bite-sizes. Sometimes I found the narrative voice a bit distracting, but that was overcome by the fascinating window into 1600-1900's medicine and history.
