Loved this interpretation of the myth. Infuriating gods, awful as usual.

The way the myth was retold was excellent, and possibly one of the best examples I have read, but I think the writing let it down a little. The dialogue was cringey at times. Making the Graeae horny AF was a choice I’m not sure I would have made.

Medusa has been getting her voice heard lately and this is another great retelling. I liked the changes in this one and enjoyed seeing how Medusa’s will continued after she was turned. I think this would be a great book to get younger readers in to mythology. I can’t wait to read the other two books in this trilogy!

I do not normally choose books like these, however, this one caught my attention. Overall, I enjoyed the book and the storyline. The reasoning behind the lost stars was the transition between the two narratives. I found myself lost and wondering if Medusa's story had ended and if I just missed it somehow. If there was a smoother transition I feel like it would have gotten a higher star rating.

Really enjoyed this version of the Persus and Medusa story.
