I totally loved this book! Sophie is such a loveable character, and I found her thoughts and emotions in some points relatable. Plus, her having a stuffed animal is just adorable! The short chapters and fast pace made it a quick read. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a  low fantasy tale filled with action and mystery. This book is a must-read for sure!

What a fantastic Middle grade for my last Middle-grade-March read. I read the annotated edition and the author was adorable. The story was lovely, I really enjoyed the characters, and it was just the right level of excitement and adventure for me to read this week. I loved it. 4.5

*˚。⋆ ➵ ehm. i’m going to start off by saying i’m incredibly bias about this series. kotlc runs so deep in my blood that i am practically an elf living in havenfield alongside sophie and her besties. i adore this series. i first read it (not all the books) when i was around 11 and it has been my #1 series since. i think this is my fourth (?) time reading keeper of the lost cities and i loved it just as much as the first time i read it. the plot is amazing!! i can’t fathom how someone can come up with such an incredible plot that constantly keeps me guessing and crying and gasping out loud. it’s just so!! good!! and it only gets better as the series goes on.

᠃ ⚘᠂ ⚘ ˚ ⚘ ᠂ ⚘ ᠃

*˚。⋆ ➵ the characters. oh. my. god. even better than the plot, if that’s possible. the main character, sophie, is a brave, caring, and independent girl who literally just wants to live a normal elf life. but she can’t because the world has something against her! my girl sophie deserves a break. and onto my absolute favorite characters of all time. KEEFE AND BIANA. i love them with my whole heart. keefe is keefe. he is amazing, stupendous, (totally in love with sophie), incredible, and honestly the best guy ever. and biana is everything!! she has the best character development ever as the series goes on. i couldn’t love any two characters more. and all the rest of the side characters like, dex, edaline, and grady, are so special and make the story even better. so now that i’ve finished fangirling over the best series ever, i hope you will take this as your sign to read it!!

Oh my God. I absolutely flippin’ LOVED this book! It’s honestly one of the best ones from this month (so far). I rarely read middle grade, but this one takes the cake. I freaking love Sophie. She kind of reminded me of Year 1 Harry Potter. And I think that’s why I enjoyed this book so much. The whole school system and the magic system reminded me of the series I hold most dear. I LOVE GRADY AND EDALINE!!! They deserve everything. The part about them canceling the adoption made me rather upset, but they redeemed themselves. DELLA AND ALDEN OMG!! I love them both. Chefs Kiss. Don’t even get me started on Fitz Vacker. I love him so much. DEX TOO! I honestly loved all of the characters. They had so much depth to them, and I think that’s what made me enjoy this that much more. Fitz and Keefe and swoon worthy. I won’t even deny this. But yes. I loved this book and everything about it. 4.5/5 stars, and I highly recommend it!
