More than 20 million people in the United States struggle with substance abuse each year. That statistic begins with users at age TWELVE. And that’s only what has been documented (the true number is likely much higher). Addiction is a disease.. and should be treated as such: with care, management, and empathy.

5⭐️ {Book}
When a writer develops such strong characters and a story that drop shifts you into that world, well done. I felt it. I was educated. It’s a YA book that parents, high schoolers and folks in education should read to gain a different perspective about the opioid crisis. *Addiction Trigger warning ⚠️

eh. slow moving, but had a good message in the end. i think bc i’ve been reading so much fantasy i wanted a more complex story and it wasn’t super complex, was more about the message
