How has queerness been with us and evolved through the stories we tell across the ages? In this series of short descriptors we explore the subtle (and not so subtle) queer coding of some of our most ancient and recent stories.

I loved seeing how stories I’m familiar with may have a queer subtext to them. I also really appreciated learning about myths and cultures I had no idea about. This was a quick read I did over several nights just before bed and it was perfect. I wish some parts were a little more fleshed out but I enjoyed it regardless.

A delightful queer romp! 

I think I would have enjoyed this more as a physical book so I could have skipped over some of the stories I was less interested in. I found myself drifting off while listening and struggling to keep my attention on some parts of the book.

Very fun though.
