My first impression of this is that the writing style is super compelling and interesting for a memoir. I notice that some passages flow like stream of consciousness while others involve deep thought and require time to process. Barghouti conveys  the severity of the Palestinian predicament while mixing in what seems like some dry humor. The fact that he has resorted to treating his story as a farce makes it even more devastating, but in these circumstances, one must cope.
