This book had a great premise, a great plot line, and good intrigue. However, it had a number of weak points as well that weakened the believability of the story. Things that were not explained, things that were overlooked, and things that just weren’t realistic. Overlooking those (which was difficult for a large majority of the book) the story had an intensity that kept me wanting to find out the ending.
Graphic: Violence, Mass/school shootings, Murder, Panic attacks/disorders, Injury/Injury detail, Death, Gun violence, Grief, and Death of parent

I picked this book up on a whim because I was drawn in by the spine and the cover. I’ve never heard anything about it nor known anyone who read it. But I did this as a buddy read with a friend, and by our 3/4 week, we decided to finish the second half all in one set it was that good.
I liked this book so much more than I thought I would. It wasn’t entirely what I was expecting, and a lot of it was predictable from a mystery/revenge plot standpoint, but I still devoured it. I loved the way that Libby and Frances were written together but separate for almost the entire book. It was a fascinating case of character development.
If you’re looking for an quick, easy read, with an interestingly written character and a mystery/revenge story then this is a book I would highly recommend!
