This is the first book I’ve read after a very long reading slump and I’m glad I did. I was looking to expand my horizons into other genres and this was a huge help. Having been a fan of Veronica Mars and podcasts, this helped me stay engaged in the story as there were aspects of both. I loved all the twist and turns and how you had to keep second guessing. Loved the character development especially with Lucy and how in the end she got her vindication. This is for sure a book that I will always recommend and looking forward to reading again and also reading other books in the genre.

This could have easily been a one sitting type of read, but I did enjoy splitting it up so I could discuss it with a book club. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat, with an interesting cast of characters. Grandma for the win! Did Lucy kill her best friend? Her whole home town thinks so, and Lucy is going back for her grandma's birthday, and that podcaster is going to be in town too.

I read this as an audiobook, and I loved it! There’s a podcast within the story and it helped me digest the plot better. I also enjoyed the main character’s sarcasm and dark humor. It’s the first time I actually LOL while reading a thriller book!
