I love this book! If Mr. Bradbury could see the world now. He wasn't far off...

I somehow managed to not end up reading this book until now, but I really loved it. It felt very theatrical to me, but not in a bad way. Not melodramatic, but like I was watching a play. Every setting and scene and dialogue felt like it was within that beautiful, expressive surrealism of theater. I'm glad I finally read this classic. The language is gorgeous and poetic and certain scenes were really emotionally intense, which I loved!

The more I think about this book, the more creeped out I get over how accurate the author's prediction was about the future.

I found the really compelling in concept but I found the writing to be really dry and the main character to just be a cookie cutter character.
