disaster. barely any plot. what constituted as a story was basically the same chapter repeated over and over. "i'm a monster". sex. "i want revenge". repeat.
plus this book is in serious need of an editor. the author can't even decide if she wants to write in third person or first person in THE SAME CHARACTERS'S POV. there's no consistency in any shape or form.
the only reason i gave this 2 stars is because i save 1 stars for book i truly truly loathed. i didn't hate this book, but i also didn't even like it.

I enjoyed it
I think that this book is my favorite in the series so far. It’s a loose adaptation of beauty and the beast. I enjoyed the evolution of the relationship between the two characters and particularly enjoyed how they looped these characters to the New York characters. I look forward to seeing how this series evolves.

In my opinion, I enjoyed this book more than the previous ones. Growl was a man who believed that he did not deserve good things in life. Cara comes in his life and starts to fall in love with her. Cara was so understanding with him and accepted with his flaws. When other looked at growl they saw a monster but cara saw something different. She did not let what other people told her about him affected how she views him. Cara fell in love in with him despite everything that had happened. I hope to see more of this couple in the rest of series.
